This site is a collaborative effort of people from the Yahoo!Groups Vai Mailing List. While some content comes from other sources, most is gathered from members of that list. Since it is a Steve Vai list, much of the content found here will be Vai related, but like the discussions on the list, the content also strays from the main topic. For example, don't be surprised to find Joe Satriani related info or Steve Morse or Dream Theater or Mattias Eklundh etc. We do not have any annoying advertising or pop up windows and have made the site simple by design to be fast loading. Hopefully this will appeal to all internet users, especially for those on modems. We just love music and we love Vai and we have a lot of cool stuff to share. If you have anything you want to contribute, we would love to have it. All contributions will be credited accordingly. Contact us via the Email Us page. About our Pyramid Eye graphic: The triangle is actually a photo of the back of a leather jacket owned by Anil Sahal (one of the list members). The artist is a Scottish lad called Wolf - a horribly talented artist who works as an insurance clerk by day and fantasy artist by night. He was thrown out of Arts College for being too 'radical' (or failing his exams depending on who you talk to). It was a difficult subject for him to paint since there are no real close ups of the image so some of it is open to his artistic interpretation. Which makes it even better. We hope you enjoy the site. Cheers, Steve Prokai |
